Yocheved Bensinger-Brody PT, PhD, PCS is a board certified pediatric physical therapist. She is an Assistant Professor in Touro College’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program in NYC, where she is responsible for teaching the pediatrics curriculum. Yocheved has worked in large pediatric centers including the Lamm Institute in Brooklyn, and Children’s Specialized Hospital in NJ, and she spent many years supervising other physical therapists practicing in the Early Intervention setting.

Yocheved graduated with a BS in Physical Therapy from Florida International University, an MA in Movement Sciences from Teachers College, Columbia University, and a PhD in Psychology from the Graduate Center at CUNY. Yocheved has extensive experience working with individuals diagnosed with neurodevelopmental and neuromuscular disorders, and she has specific expertise evaluating neonates and infants. Yocheved continues to collaborate with other research scientists to learn about early predictors of neurodevelopmental disorders, and to better understand the relationship between cognitive and motor behaviors.
